Why do you want to be a Governor?I am standing for re-election having been a Staff Governor for the past three years. I enjoy this role and would like to continue as such.

Matt Wynne
I live and have a young family in the area served by this Trust and care deeply about the local population and the services that we provide.I have worked for the Trust as a Physiotherapist since 2001. My background has a strong track record in multi-professional working and in delivering high quality patient-focussed care. My role as a Team Lead in the Therapy Service also provides me with experience of operational management and leadership. I hold an NHS seat on CSP Council and have served two years on the Council of Governors as a staff representative all of which has prepared me well to continue in the role.
I share the Trust’s vision to be the best healthcare provider by delivering excellent services for our patients though:

- Delivering efficient, safe and reliable services,
- Enabling excellence,
- Encouraging innovation,
- Embracing learning, knowledge and change.
We face more challenges and choices than ever. A service that is truly responsive to local needs requires commitment and partnership working. If re-elected, I would continue to ensure that the organisation is both challenged and supported appropriately in order to achieve the Trust’s vision.
I fully understand that the Council of Governors is a formal link between the Trust and its members. I will work diligently to represent the interests of the local community and members of the Trust and to share information about important decisions regarding the Trust, its vision and performance.
